                             Community Groups


Small groups at CROSSFIRE are called Community Groups.  The groups are facilitated by trained leaders and are open to single adults.  We offer topics that interest single men and women and that encourage spiritual growth.

CF SISTERS (Women’s group)

Meeting weekly on Tuesday evenings beginning January 5, 2010, this group will look at "Bad Girls of the Bible" - a 10 week study of the women of the Bible - their virtues and failures.  The group is lead by Patti Gilbert and meets from 6:30pm-8:30pm at the CROSSFIRE office.  You are encouraged to order a book,  available for $10.00 on the first night of the group.

CF Brothers and Sisters (Mixed small group):  This group will meet for 4 Tuesday evenings during March/April.  Facilitated by Barb Edwards and Don Ross, this group will meet at Barb’s home, 1 Hillcrest Road, Enola. A brief screening of the main theme of a movie will be shown and discussion will follow. Join us for this spiritually uplifting look at the movies.  Dates and movies

Directions:  Rt. 81 to Wertzville Rd exit, turn toward Enola, go 2 miles to light at East Penn Drive, turn right, go to first light at Magaro Road, turn right, go to ¼ mile and turn right on Riverview Drive, then first left on Hillcrest Rd.  Park on street and look for Crossfire signs.

CF Brothers:  A men’s group is starting, by getting together Friday March 5 at Warm Hearts Café, 25 East Main St., Mechanicsburg from 6:30-8:00pm.  This group is open to men who want to make some Christian male friends who share the common goal of living godly lives. The first meeting will be a get-acquainted night and the group will decide when to meet again.  The café opens at 6pm and serves sandwiches, soups, specialty beverages and desserts.  There will be live music starting at 8pm for those who want to stay.  This men’s group will be hosted by Craig Lampe, Bill Rabold and Don Ross.
